Will Smith’s Mega Trailer is Bigger than a Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom Apartment

Will Smith is big and needs everything around him to be big. The double Decker luxury trailer that accompanies him on the set of ‘Men and Black III’ in New York City is beyond big. It is not simply the biggest trailer of its kind but at 1,150 square feet, the titanic trailer is larger than most two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments in the city. It is unimaginable how much facility, amenity and space you need to carry around wherever you go if you are a big star.

The features available on the trailer are mind boggling. The trailer also features a 100-inch roll-down movie screen. A satellite uplink on the roof can send Smith’s movies to and from a 50-inch plasma TV or 37-inch TVs that pop up from cabinets. There is separate dedicated space for Smith to have his makeup and wardrobe done. The specially designed ride, nicknamed “The Heat,” includes a lounge, a movie room with a 100-inch screen, marble floors throughout, offices for his assistants and writing staff, a large bedroom and all-granite bathroom. It measures about 53 feet long, has 22 wheels and weighs in at around 30 tons.

Upstairs holds a lounge with a bar, enough office space for 30 people to hold a meeting, and the mobile offices of Smith’s assistant and his personal writing staff. But the size of the trailer has become a disadvantage for the trailer as it has irked local neighbors and businesses. Michael Bloomberg, the NYC Mayor has also taken notice and asked the production people to move the trailer as it has become a nuisance for the area where it is parked. The production company agreed to move it and they have now parked it in the Park Fast lot half a mile away. For its size and extraordinary features the trailer has a very reasonable rental rate. It can be hired for just $9,000 per week.
