Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is Now Open for Guests

The Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal opened its doors for guests today. It is a significant event as it is the first Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi and the ninth property in the Middle Eastern region. The Grand Canal is a 532 room luxury resort with 447 guestrooms and suites and 85 one and two bedroom villas. The architecture of the brand new property is inspired by 15th to early 17th century Renaissance architecture and the urban planning of the city of Venice. It is collection of ten stately buildings set in a crescent formation. Located at the waterfront, it has the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque as the backdrop.

Herve Humler President and Chief Operations Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company was justifiably excited on the occasion. The property of Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal has been developed over 57 acres. The manicured lawns, water features and private beaches make it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The Ritz-Carlton Club Level is an exclusive service that provides a dedicated concierge, private check-in. Another unique feature of the service is that guests can enjoy five food and beverage offerings in an exclusive lounge that boasts of panoramic views of the property, canal and city skyline. The new hotel and its 1,550 square meter Roma Ballroom is also the perfect venue for special celebrations and events. The hotel has ten restaurants and bars. Li Jiang is a Southeast Asian restaurant whereas Mijana is a contemporary Arabic restaurant. The Forge is a signature steak house and Al Fresco is the pool restaurant.
