The five-star Peninsula Hotel recently unveiled a $19,000-a-night suite. The Fifth Avenue Suite is located on the 17th floor of the Peninsular New York. The extravagant suite is ideal for those looking for a luxurious good night rest.

The $19k suite has a floor area that spans 2,500 square-feet. The Suite offers a clear view of the Midtown’s infamous Fifth Avenue stretch. The one-bedroom suite designed by Manhattan’s Bill Rooney Studio Inc. has a superior yet homey aesthetic. The guests enter a grand entryway adorned with graphic black and white panel flooring and fully paneled white leather walls that lead into a spacious living room.

The living room boasts of wood-trimmed walls, herringbone walnut wood flooring, a cozy seating area, amazing oversized windows, and an 80-inch flat screen TV. A sliding glass panel doors separate the dining room and living room, which guests can open to create a larger space for entertaining. The dining room with 10-seater table bedecked with hand-painted floral murals by Hong Kong-based artist David Qian. Plus! It is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, and the adjoining gourmet kitchen has a 50-bottle wine cellar. The nearby study room includes a 65-inch television, a closet, and desk.

The single bedroom features a walk-in dressing area. The focal point of the bedroom is a bed with custom-made headboard etched from embossed leather crafted by London-based artists Helen Amy Murray. The master bathroom features an astonishing mural created by Brooklyn artist Michael Davis. The glass murals frame the large soaking Jacuzzi bathtub that begs for champagne, bubbles, and aromatherapy.

With regard to the room’s essential functions like the lighting, television channel, and temperature, they can be controlled easily with the hotel’s tablet, which is available in 11 languages. Whenever you are in the bedroom, the large window gives you a view of the Museum of Modern Art’s Sculpture Garden and the city skyline. The nightly rate for Peninsula’s luxury suite starts at a whopping $19,000.
