L’Odyssée de Cartier: French Jewelry House’s Short Film

The French jewelry house would unveil a short film of a three and a half minute L’Odyssée de Cartier. The debut on 4th March retraces its one hundred and sixty five year history which narrates the events in a descriptive way. The film will be aired on National TV networks. It gives an account of inspiration drawn for the creativity of the house, which is showcased offering a tour for the viewers. Its cultural influences include India, China, Russia and France. The short film is directed by Bruno Aveillan, one of the leading advertising directors of the world.

The story of the jeweler is depicted in the unique movie from the beginning as a jeweler to royal house to its modern luxury status. A glimpse of imaginary world is under the gaze of watchful panther. It reveals its many iconic designs including Santos watch, Maharaja’s jewelry, and the tutti frutti style.

The musical composition was composed by famous orchestrator Pierre Adenot, and recorded at studios of Abbey road in London. Supermodel Shalom Harlow has been featured by the film as the lady in Mansion. According to the president of Cartier North America, Emmanuel Perrin, the panther is the emblem of jewelry expertise of Cartier and also the symbol of freedom and strength. She is charming and regal, always follows her instinct through emerald eye and ever ready to pounce on the enjoyment of life.

The House of Cartier was established in 1847, and the jewelry brand opened its boutiques in London and New York in 1909. The film was made in two years with a team of fifty talented people including directors, artisans, musicians, and set designers.
