Giorgio Armani Beauty is now up to designing beauty makeup. The latest news is that they are almost ready to launch a new formula which they have patented. It is called Maestro Fusion Makeup SPF15 and it has been developed differently from other foundations in the market. The research and development team at the luxury fashion brand put in eight years of hard work to develop the formula for this foundation. The company is positioning this new product as a complexion perfector and claim that it has been developed in order to meet women’s high expectations. The new formula makeup will become available in the US on 15th of September.
It is Different from Traditional Makeup in its Composition
The basic difference in this foundation is in its composition. Normally they are made up of 20% water and 80% oil. However, the product Armani has developed is made up of 60% dry oils and 11% pigments. They have invented a new technique to create a weightless texture. The new product has a water free and powder free formulation and that’s what makes it different from any other makeup. Linda Cantello, International Makeup Artist for Giorgio Armani Beauty talked about the new product to WWD and said that the brand was very proud of what they have achieved through their own research and development. While explaining the composition of the product she said that the fusion technology powers the high-slip fluid with smart pigment technology. The secret of the success of the new product is that it is the ultra fine oil pigment suspension that perfects the skin.
Twelve Shades will be Made Available in the US Market
Maestro has the ability to adapt to the user’s natural skin tone instead of adding color to it. Among other things the product has five volatile, semi-volatile and non-volatile oils that each evaporate at different rates. This allows the foundation to give maximum color and moisture to skin throughout the day. These oils were selected very carefully after evaluating over 100 variety of oils for their volatility and ability to blend. Armani executives are very confident about the product and even the experts in the industry believe that it will do over $10 million in retail in the very first year of business in US alone. Only nine shades have been planned to be marketed globally but 12 shades will be made available for the US market. 1oz bottle of Maestro priced at $62 will be made available in 130 select stores in the US.
