Baselworld 2010: Haldimann Horology Unveils H8 Sculptura

Haldimann Horology has unveiled the H8 Sculptura which is being touted as “a far cry from today’s electronic gadgetry,”. It comes with extremely complex construction but uses very simple and traditional tools. Thanks to a scratch-resistant crystal you could expect that the watch would forever remain scar free and impeccable.

In fact, the watch has already bagged the Gaia Prize of 2009. The watch is quite affordable too, and costs only $15,000. The watch looks pretty chic and this is something that you should wear if you are visiting a place like Belgrade or one of the jewels of Eastern Europe.

In fact, people may be surprised why I am even talking about Eastern European cities but the fact remains that these cities of the former Eastern Block are now filled with such luxury and nouveau riche that even if you wear the best watch you might feel like a poor person.

Well, that really is not the issue here and this watch is really beautiful and could be worn in places like balls and high end parties where you could expect to meet the crème de la crème of society.

Baselworld 2010 is scheduled from 18-25 March.
