So what exactly would happen when Alice came out of the hole and decided to walk the ramp in the fashion capital of the world? Well, the top designers on the planet decided to give us a free preview of exactly that as they indulged themselves with the design of Alice’s dress in their own unique style. Part of an event to promote the latest Time Burton movie ‘Alice in wonderland’ the best of the fashion world were asked to design their vision for Alice’s costume.
Of course, each decided to use different colors, shades, patterns and models to dress up Alice in the giant world inside the magic hole. The designs of famous creators like Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, Chloé, Ann Demeulemeester, Christopher Kane, Nicholas Kirkwood, Maison Martin Margiela, Bernhard Willhelm, and the recently departed Alexander McQueen were on display and while some went the traditional way others decided to be bold and innovative.
While the whole event was decided to just promote the movie and most likely these dresses will not make it out to stores anytime soon, just the thrill of dressing up one of the more famous comic and cartoon characters would have been surely exciting… both for the designers and audience alike!
