Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts are known to have some of the best hotels world over. This time around the hotel group has decided to set foot in Latin America. Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts recently announced its first hotel in Latin America, called The Panamera. The Waldorf Astoria Hotel is supposed to open its gates to guests by the second half of 2011 in the capital of Panama, Panama City.
As the old man Hilton had once said that the three things that most for the success of a hotel are its location, location, and location, the people at Waldorf Astoria have made sure that the new hotel be located in a good spot. They were successful in that by getting place in Calle Uruguay area of Panama City, which is supposed to be quite tourist friendly.
The stunning tower will house 130 guest rooms, 118 luxury residences, a 1,200-sqare-foot fitness center, a 2,500-square-feet spa, a large outdoor swimming pool, 4 600 square feet of meeting space and more than 9,000 square feet for restaurants and bars. The construction on the hotel has already started and is going full swing. The pictures of the planned structure look really modern and hopefully the end result will also be equally cool.
