The latest indicator of this fact is W New York- Downtown which is the newest property from Starwood which has been inaugurated recently.
This new property features 58 floors of upscale urban luxury and signature comforts. The towering building doesn’t just have the hotel but new Residences for those who are not just visitors to the city but who want to make their stay more permanent. One very big advantage the building has is it’s vantage location as it will enjoy the prime view of the new Freedom Tower being constructed at the Ground Zero.
Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, the award winning architectural firm has been associated with some design elements of the hotel. GRAFT has done the interiors. Bruce Munro, the British light sculptor has provided a special “light shower sculpture”. For hospitality there is a BLT Bar & Grill, The Living Room Bar and the Terrace with stunning outdoor space. The hotel has 217 rooms including 16 studio suites. It has 223 luxurious condominiums with access to all the amenities of the hotel.
