Towson Commons Sells for an Incredible $28.5 Million

Towson Commons was one of the most recognizable landmarks of the Towson city in Baltimore. The bustling retail and business center in the heart of downtown Towson fetched an amazing amount off $28.5 million at an auction. It is a surprise that the 384,000-square-foot complex was in the market for quite some time.

It was purchased by the lender Capmark Finance Inc. Representatives. Right now, it is not clear how the property would be used in the future. Chances are, it would be turned into a mall of sorts, for it comes with a huge space and perhaps it could also serve as a business center just like it used to in its heyday.

Downtown Towson will soon have its landmark business centre back on the black, but in which manner is something that we all need to wait and watch. It would be a interesting wait though for most real estate developers for they might already have been trying to fetch retailers to occupy the space in Townson Commons. Prices shall surely skyrocket in and around Towson Commons! So let us wait and watch the future of this amazing business centre!
