The most expensive bungalow in Sentosa Cove has a new owner

A luxury home in Sentosa Cove has fetched a whopping $36million, and the new owner who belted out this much cash is a Chinese national. This sky high price has taken this house to the highest spot in the real estate in the area. The rate per square feet for this posh home was $2,403. This rate for this property in Paradise Island was specified by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) latest caveat records.

It spans an area of 14,983 square feet and the built up area is an impressive 17,000 square feet. According to URA’s records, this property is definitely the most expensive house in Sentosa Cove and might also be the priciest in the whole of Singapore! Steven Tan, executive director of OrangeTee says that this property is on a 99 year leasehold tenure, while most other bungalows in posh areas such as Nassim Hill and the Holland area in mainland Singapore are freehold.

This beautiful two and a half storey bungalow has a private pool, a berth for a yacht that could reach the house as it faces a waterfront. I am sure the man who can afford such an expensive bungalow can very well own a yacht. So problem solved!
