Saint Tropez Gets a Super De Luxe Hotel From YTL Hotels

Saint Tropez in France witnessed the first of YTL Hotel’s global expansion with the opening of  Muse Hotel De Luxe. As the name suggests, each suit in the hotel is named after one of the muses the hotel has been dedicated to. Edith Piaf, Catherine Denevue and Lauren Bacall are some of the muses after which the 15 suits of the hotel have been named. Ten of these suits have personal pools and most of them are overlooking the terraced gardens.

Each of the suits in the hotel has its own decor and style but all of them have cool stone floors with mamorino wall finishes. All the suits have oversized showers and plasma screen televisions. The De Luxe service for the guests includes Bentley shuttles to the beach and sun-butlers to apply sunscreen. The luxury aspect of the hotel is very pronounced in the menu and the food served to the guests. Executive chef Nicolas Tourmelin and consultant chef Clement Bruno of Chez Bruno preside over an exclusive truffle menu. Royal King Crab Thermidor style, Red Mullet Tart with Aubergine Caviar and Baby Mozzarella are some of the tempting fare on offer.

The bar at the Muse has views over the sunken pool and gardens. It has both alcoholic as well as non alcoholic drinks on offer. In the evening a range of signature cocktails are offered with creative canapés. All this luxurious surroundings and services come at a price. 350 Euros is the minimum you pay for a room in this hotel.
