Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio talk show host sells his New York penthouse for $11.5 million

Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio talk show host has sold his fancy Upper East Side condominium for an eye-popping $11.5 million. The condo has 10 rooms, and totals 4,600 square foot in area. It had originally been put up on the market for a $12.95 million. Limbaugh plans to leave the New York City and hence had put this property for sale. An anonymous new buyer entered into contract last week.

Located on the posh location of 86th Street and Fifth Avenue, this penthouse is brimming with luxury. It boasts of a library, four terraces, his and hers dressing rooms, a functional fireplace, and an amazing view of Central Park. Each room is absolutely exquisite. They have Fortuny upholstery, hand cut Italian marble, and ceiling murals by artist Richard Smith. Though Rush got a million dollar less than the asked price, he still didn’t do too bad considering that he had bought the property for just $5million in 1994.

The main motive behind him leaving the Big Apple is to get away from the increased taxation that has been imposed on the millionaire home owners. He has other very fine places to stay in other states, so the man should be fine.
