Reed Krakoff Appoints Valérie Hermann As The New Chief Executive Officer

One of the foremost women’s fashion accessories manufactures, Reed Krakoff, has now reportedly appointed Valérie Hermann as the new company President and CEO and the position will take effect from April 1st, 2011. After recently departing her ways from Yves Saint Laurent, Ms. Hermann was said to be out of a job, until her latest appointment as the CEO of Reed Krakoff.  Considered to be one of the fastest growing fashion labels in the industry, Reed Krakoff came to the fashion vertical just about an year ago and since then, this incredibly innovative brand has been able to capture the attention of the fashion market, as well as numerous women customers with its gorgeous and stylish women products.

Reed Krakoff showcased its maiden collection in the month of February last year and since then, it has achieved great heights of success, leading to the establishment of branded company stores in some of the most high end and affluent locations including, Madison Avenue, New York and Las Vegas. Reed Krakoff is operated under the Coach Inc. banner, that also serves as the fashion brand’s parent company, with Krakoff being the executive creative director of Coach. In just 12 months, Reed Krakoff has also created an international presence, with the opening of its fashion store in Tokyo, while attracting some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, such as the likes of Julianne Moore.
