The Tcherassi Hotel & Spa has now been bestowed with the title of one of the world’s best new hotels for the year 2010, as selected by two of the most revered and respected travel magazines, Conde Nast Traveler and Travel & Leisure. This incredible new hospitality property is located in Cartagena, Colombia and has been built in a renovated and restored mansion, tracing its heritage to over 250 years.
The Tcherassi Hotel & Spa is a seven room luxury entity and is the culmination of first of its kind partnership between Colombian fashion icon Silvia Tcherassi and CF Hospitality. This unique hotel and spa has been in the spotlight of both the media and the luxury travelers, since its unveiled in the year 2009. The Travel & Leisure magazine has constantly been on the lookout for unique, luxurious and special hospitality properties and for this year, the publication chose 45 such hotels, that present their guests with the best aesthetics, unmatched service and a delightful stay.
In a similar fashion, the Conde Nast Traveler also sifted through a wide range of hotels, resorts and spas to bring out the best of them to the world. At the end, the magazine selected 134 properties across 55 countries, that boast of incredible architecture, five star services and an affinity towards the technological edge for their guests.
According to Ilan Segal (Managing Partner, Tcherassi Hotels),
“An incredible amount of hard work, creativity and passion went into this project. And it is beyond rewarding to be recognized by the world’s foremost authority on luxury travel as one of the best in the world.”
