Portland’s latest offering, a wine storage unit, is the brainchild of Rick McClish, who wanted to do something for the community members who often find it difficult to store their vast wine collections. Built at the site of an old Jones Cash Store, the Rose City Self Storage is huge and its basement has been converted into the storage area.
Proving to be the perfect solution for every wine collector’s storage worries, this facility has been open for a few months now. There are a total of 500 lockers available, and they are all safe and durable. Made from oak wood, the lockers are also sealed with steel locks to ensure maximum safety. The climate is controlled to make sure that your wine is kept fresh. Some other great facilities like direct delivery have made the place all the more popular. Yes, that’s right! You can have your wine delivered and stored directly at the Rose City Self Storage.
The building that houses this very convenient storage centre was built in 1921 has been declared a historic building by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The renovation being done, the building has a lot to offer. While the basement stores your wine, there is a room for public wine tasting. Additionally the upper floors are carpeted and take you down memory lane with old relics from Portland kept on display.
