If you are a Francophile like I am, you would know that Paris is the greatest city on planet Earth. No matter what people tell you, no city in this world can compare to the beautiful Paris.
The city of lights, the city of love and the city of fashion, Paris has been the source of inspiration to thousands f artists, writers and painters. According to an article published in the French newspaper Le Figaro, Paris is the most expensive city in the world and they did not take into account the citizens’ buying power into consideration.
A beer in Paris may cost 5.50 Euros, but the city is also not just about what you pay for the consumer goods or food or drinks, it is also about the time you spend there. In fact, there is every reason why you should pay more money in Paris than in New York for the same beer, and that is because of how elegant and stylish the city really is.
Moreover, Euro is really strong and the Dollar has weakened remarkably. All this has made Paris an expensive but attractive city nonetheless. If you like Paris, better be able to spend enough money there, for she doesn’t come cheap!
