Oberoi Hotels Secures Top Position at the Conde Nast Traveler’s Awards

Oberoi Hotels & Resorts secured the top two positions at the Condé Nast Traveler’s (UK edition) Readers’ Travel Awards held in London. They had two more of their properties in the top twenty. So finally four Oberoi hotels ranked amongst the twenty best leisure hotels in Asia and the Indian subcontinent.

Their Udaipur property, the Oberoi Udaivilas scored a total of 94.56 points and was adjudged the best leisure hotel in the region. Wildflower Hall, Shimla, in the Himalayas was ranked second. The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur, was ranked ninth while The Oberoi, Lombok, in Indonesia was 16th. Even in the category of business hotels the Oberois were present in the top ten with their New Delhi hotel. The Oberoi Group has been in the business for over seven decades now and have built up their reputation for service diligently over the years. They have now become masters at delivering customer satisfaction.

Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Travel Awards are the result of a readers’ survey conducted by the magazine. There are 27 categories in all and the readers are asked to rate their choices on a range of criteria from ambience and décor to staff, facilities, service and environmental friendliness. The Oberoi Group currently operates 31 hotels worldwide.
