LuXplosion 2010, Ron Kurtz Nominated for The Marketers of Sin Category

Ron Kurtz has become one of the most known names in the business of marketing for the rich, with over 20 years of experience. He has held positions in general management and senior marketing in the airline, cruise, and hotel industries. The industry has come to recognize his metal and hence, when he established The Management Resource Group way back in 1989, companies such as Merrill Lynch, Philip Morris, The Home Shopping Network, Celebrity Cruises, and several big names in the hospitality and travel industry flocked to him for strategic planning and interim management services.

With a BBA degree from The University of Texas and an MBA from The Harvard Graduate School of Business, he is professionally trained to work in the management business. He focussed his attentions on the affluent market, when he found the Sea Goddess Cruises in 1982. Then in 2001, he established the American Affluence Research Center, which has emerged as a leading authority and a source of insight and marketing information on the luxury market and affluent consumers. They focus exclusively on the wealthiest 10% of U.S. households, according to their net worth. He has also authored the book, “Market Research: Strategy and Techniques”. We acknowledge and appreciate the great work he has done so far by nominating him for The LuXplosion 2010.
