Radha Chadha has become a name to reckon with in the world of advertising and marketing. Having worked with some of the best advertising agencies such as JWT, Ogilvy & Mather, Grey Worldwide, and Bates Asia, she has emerged as one of Asia’s leading marketing and consumer insights experts. She now has her own brand consultancy, started in 2000 with its headquarters in Hong Kong. Her repertoire of clients while holding senior strategic planning positions, included big names such as HSBC, American Express, British Airways, Glaxo SmithKline, and Mandarin Oriental.
Her work has taken her to many countries including China, India, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia, all these places adding to her experience. She is frequently asked to speak at seminars and conferences. Her hosts have been include Tiffany New York, Nike China, LVMH Hong Kong, American Express New Delhi, Stanford University USA, JP Morgan Luxury Goods CEO Conference Paris, World Luxury Congress London, and Japan Luxury Forum, Tokyo, among others. She currently teaches at the Tsinghua Ogilvy Branding States Program, a collaboration between Beijing’s Tsinghua University and Ogilvy & Mather. Her book The Cult of the Luxury Brand, which studies the “luxeplosion” in Asian markets, has generated a lot of interest and appreciation.
