If you are into luxury, there is no way you haven’t dreamed about shopping at Harrods, London. Harrods is one of the world’s most famous luxury stores that have existed for almost 2 centuries. The store was founded in 1834 and has grown to be the largest store in the U.K. The store has changed hands from various people, and Princess Diana’s lover Dodi Al Fayed’s father was one of them. He sold the store to Qatar Holdings for a price of 1.5 Billion. Throughout its history, Harrods has had 5 owners. The store also opened its overseas branch in Buenos Aires way back in early part of 20th century.

The company is known to sell products from various luxury brands, and also houses a great collection of jewellery, art and even wine. If you are a person who lives and swears by luxury, you should be heading towards Harrods store in London, and try to shop as much as you can.

The Harrods store has more than 5,000 employees, and the number is growing by each passing year. This just shows that the company’s founder Charles Henry Harrod has created the British tradition of shopping at Harrods.
