Ferreti Group has long been an esteemed name parallel to world leaders in luxury yacht building business. The Italian conglomerate was founded in 1968 and itnially when it started it used only produce small boats. It was the year 1971 when the company produced its motorsailer. The conglomerate now has a rich diversified portfolio of some of the most exclusive, prestigious brands in the nautical world. It includes names like Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Riva, Itama, Bertram, Mochi Craft, CRN and Custom Line.

Ferreti also holds majority stake in companies which play a pivotal role in sectors active in the production of furnishing pieces for the nautical industry. This is exactly what gives them an edge over their competitors. Apart from the mainstream business of building luxury yachts, the company also sells components to the external market. It first acquired Diesse Arredamenti S.p.A. in 2002 that specializes in the productions and marketing of furnishing components of for yachts. Subsequently in the next year   Zago S.p.A. was acquired which specialized in producing and assembling manufactured pieces and furnishings in wood for megayachts measuring over 100 feet in length.
