Daniel Edward Craig is that rare hotelier author who has in fact left his job as a hotelier and taken up writing and speaking full time and naturally the hospitality industry takes what Daniel has to say very seriously. These days he writes, consults and speaks about social media, reputation management and storytelling for the hotel industry. His articles and blog are considered essential reading for travelers, hotel employees and students alike.
Born in Vancouver, Canada, Daniel started his career as a front desk agent at the Delta Chelsea Inn in Toronto. Since then he worked for various upscale properties in positions ranging from Duty Manager to Vice President. The experience and the insight he gained during the years he served different hotels is invaluable and has made him an authority on the subject. His contribution to the industry over the years in different capacity makes him an ideal candidate for nomination to the Chic Hotel Experts category at the LuXplosion 2010.
His work of fiction also draws heavily from his experiences in the hotel business. Of course he has put together the murder part through his imagination as all three of his novels are murder mysteries.
