Christopher Elliott is National Geographic Traveler’s reader advocate and a nationally syndicated columnist through Tribune Media Services. His columns have appeared in several respected publications such as San Francisco Chronicle and the Chicago Tribune. His articles appear frequently in The Washington Post’s travel section and Mint.com, where he is a personal finance columnist.  He has also written travel columns for ABCNews.com, CNN.com, Kiplinger.com, MarketWatch.com, MSN, MSNBC.com, The New York Times and USAToday.com.

Apart from the print media, he has also been featured in several television and radio shows, the most well known being the TV show “What You Get For The Money: Vacations” on the Fine Living Network, which he himself hosted. He is also called on as a travel expert on various shows on prestigious networks like NBC Nightly News, ABC World News Tonight and CBS.  He also makes regular appearances on radio channels including NPR, public radio’s Marketplace and Sound Money, CNET Radio, and numerous ABC network affiliates.

He also renders his services as a travel expert to various publications including Business Week and Wall Street Journal, and is a contributing editor to SkiSnowboard America & Canada, the leading ski guide book in North America. As the co-founder of the Consumer Travel Alliance, a Washington-based advocacy group for travellers, he wants to make travellers more informed.  In these preceding lines you probably saw the names of almost all the important publications and T.V. networks in America.
