Luisa Spagnoli is Rumored to be the Preferred Designer Label of Catherine Middleton

She wore a striking red wool jacket and skirt for one of her first official appearances with her fiancé, Prince William. Luisa Spagnoli is a ready-to-wear label was founded in Perugia, Italy in 1928. Ninety percent of their employees are women and their business is also women oriented. Their collection this season is suitable for both casual and formal occasions. They have used symmetrical lines to accentuate and enhance the female figure. Though fashionistas were somewhat disappointed by Kates choice of dress on her visit to the university, there are rumors that she is choosing another Spagnoli design for one of the evening celebrations following the royal wedding.

It is one of the oldest ready-to-wear brands in Europe. Middleton is reported to have purchased the bright red skirt for around $260 and the jacket for $540, from Hollie de Keyser in London. The boutique was earlier called Emma Somerset which was visited by Diana, William’s mother, regularly. Kate Middleton’s status as a fashion icon has skyrocketed since the announcement of her engagement to Prince William.
