One of the biggest sports cars manufacturers in the world, Koenigsegg Automotive AB, has now unveiled an all new Koenigsegg Agera R a high performance sports car, that has been designed and developed to outperform and keep the legacy of the iconic Koenigsegg Agera alive. The all new Koenigsegg Agera AR is quite in the league of some of the most thrilling high performance machines on the roads today, such as the likes of Bugatti, Lamborghini etc. the Agera R was unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and this remarkable four wheeler is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, that produces a roaring 1,115bhp and uses the cutting edge E85 bio-fuel, giving this phenomenal car a top speed in excess of 240mph or 386 kph.
However, one of the most astounding features of the all new Agera R is its Lightning Roof Box System, where in Koenigsegg is now offering the customers the option of a ‘Winter Package’, that will enable the Agera R hypercar to quickly change its roof dimensions, so as to accommodate a snowboard on the top of this gorgeous vehicle. Koenigsegg has now partnered with Thule, one of the most prominent names in vehicle solutions, to bring this incredible feature to the Agera R, thereby effectively converting the roof of this marvelous hypercar into that of a SUV. The Agera R is built with a 7 speed gearbox transmission system, that has been incorporated with the world’s first dual clutch system for a single input shaft gearbox. The Lightning Roof Box System will carry a price tag of $28,649 on top of the whopping $1,424,886 price tag of Koenigsegg Agera R.
