Julie Benz is known for her role as Dexter Morgans wife on serial killer series Dexter and is engaged to marketing executive Rich Orosco. He proposed to her in their Los Angeles homes backyard. This is the second marriage for Benz after ten years of marriage after she divorced John Kassir. Now waiting for four years to get proposed by her beau Rich Orosco is really worth waiting after you see the magnificent diamond wedding ring.
Julie Benz was surprised that there were more surprises in store for her, as Orocco had arranged to surprise her with secretly arranging engagement inviting the “pop-up Mexican fiesta” a Maiachi band, for the event in the presence of closest friends and family people at home. She could not believe that her own friend didn’t leak the surprise.
On Sunday, Orosco proposed to Julie Benz, with a dazzling diamond ring designed by jewellery designer Kwiat. It features cushion-cut, a 3-carat, centre diamond, which is surrounded by pave diamonds. Jewellery expert Michael O’Connor says that right now, in Hollywood Julie posseses one of the most popular styles. Yet Julie’s ring has a vintage character with platinum milgrain detail to it. This ensures diamonds to remain secured. Platinum milgrain had great appeal in 1900s because it used to give a sort of illusion as if diamonds were floating. The estimated price of the ring is $80,000.
