JFA shipyard has released an expedition style, Motor yacht Axantha II measuring 43m, built under hull name 22C. JFA Chantier Naval, French Yacht builder, delivers for charter, which is supposed to make big waves on Mediterranean Sea. The aluminum expedition superyacht has been designed by the well known architects of Dutch firm Vripack. The charter yacht offers guests all outdoor area enjoyments such as access to the sea and lounges. The crew has direct access to the forward deck which enables to equip with storage for single day expeditions.
The 340 square meters of interior space accommodates eight crew members and eleven guests. The interior design being conservative, similar to the first Axantha yacht with main deck possessing dining room, outside lounge with a bar where guests can dine outdoors and relax , upper deck with study/ library, and the topmost sundeck which is accessible through staircase.
The lower deck is dedicated to the guest cabins, equipped with a large bathroom dressing area, and a laundry room. The decor features wood panels, fixtures and flooring giving the elegant look. Great measure has taken to lessen the vibration and sound. Bureau Veritas has certified the M/Y Axantha II.
The yacht is built for far reaching sea voyages with less consumption of fuel. Axantha II is powered by three Onan generators and two Cummins engines of 750hp. The cruising speed of Axantha II is 12.5 knots with eight thousand nautical miles range. It is available for starting weekly rate €140,000 during high season and in low season it is priced at €120,000.
