The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles opened on the 2nd of April, 2010 and was the final leg of the $2.5 Billion L.A. LIVE sports, residential and entertainment district which can now be said as complete.
The Ritz-Carlton is perched on the upper floors of the 54 story tower, and it shares the tower with JW Marriot Los Angeles. With 123 well-appointed guestrooms, including 14 suites, the Ritz is one of the best in Downtown L.A.
It covers an area of 3,000 sq foot. Each suite comes with a piano and entertainment room, media corner, lounge, kitchen and formal dining area.
Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck has also opened a new concept restaurant in Ritz-Carlton and it would feature refined Asian fare. It is located on the 24th floor of the hotel.
The Ritz-Carlton has an amazing event space as well, and would be a great attraction to not just the visitors to L.A., but also the well heeled locals.
There are several restaurants and bars within L.A. LIVE, and they include 13 restaurants and bars including Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Rosa Mexicano, Katsuya, ESPN Zone, Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Rock ‘N Fish and Trader Vic’s. It sure puts Los Angeles on top of the luxury map!
