One of the foremost and biggest names in luxury win tours, French Wine Owners has announced the launch of an all new tour package to Bordeaux region of France this September. This one of a kind tour will be hosted by none other than, the author of the award winning book, ‘The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine’. Laurie Forster. The tour will be a six day win harvest event and will most definitely prove to be a lifetime opportunity for travel and wine enthusiasts.
French Wine Owners are well renowned for their luxurious and highly informative, award winning tours to some of the best wineries in the world. On the other hand, Laurie Forster, who is also known as ‘The Wine Coach’ will personally be on site providing extremely useful insight into the world of wines. The guests on the wine harvest tour to Boudreaux, will be provided with an opportunity to witness the harvesting process and will also be participating in a blending workshop. Furthermore, the guests along with Ms. Forster will also be attending several wine tasting programs across some of the most well known French estates, such as Graves, Medoc, Sauternes and St. Emilion regions.
According to Pascale Bernasse (President, French Wine Owners),
“All of our tours offer the chance to experience French wine and wineries in a special way. To have Laurie join us for this tour, lending her expert insight and guidance, truly makes the Bordeaux Wine Harvest Tour a not-to-be-missed journey that I can not wait to share with our guests.”
This incredible tour to Bordeaux has been limited to 16 guests and will be conducted from Sept. 27 – Oct. 2, 2010, with a price tag of $3,950 per person, double occupancy.
According to Laurie Forster,
“I’m thrilled to host this French Wine Explorers tour. My mission as The Wine Coach has always been to offer wine education that is fun and approachable and 100% attitude free. The old Proverb: ‘Over a bottle of wine, many a friend is made,’ is one of my guiding principles. I’m looking forward to the 16 new friends I’ll make on this French Wine Harvest Sojourn.”
