Former Ritz-Carlton in Las Vegas Opens As Ravella

The jewel in the desert, Las Vegas has been described as the city of sin, the city of lights and so many other things. For me, it is a city that allows you to spend money in the most fun way possible. The Las Vegas strip which has the highest number of casinos possible is perhaps one of the glitziest paces to be around. However, a $70 cab ride away from the main strip, there used to be the Ritz-Carlton, which was not really popular with visitors to the city.

It was located on Lake Vegas, and is now managed by someone else I guess, and is called Ravella. It may not be Ritz-Carlton anymore, but it sure does offer a lot of luxury. Also, the rooms are pretty cheap. At $117 a night, one can hardly think of it as a luxury hotel. However, it boasts of gold courses, a lake, and amazing palatial rooms.

Deutsche Bank bought the hotel and asked the Dolce Hotels & Resorts to run it, and they are doing a swell job in fact. For the price of $117, you would get Ritz-calibre rooms, gleaming lake, first-rate spa, fly fishing, golf and of course an opportunity to stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. However, the $70 cab ride from Las Vegas may make it a pretty expensive place after all, in spite of slashing the room prices by half. When you are in Las Vegas, don’t forget to stay here for a night or two.
