Finnish designer Eero Aarnio Announces the Soap Chair

Furnishing a house takes a lot of effort, not in terms of money but in terms of the effort put to thinking and planning. If you always wanted your house to be furnished in a certain way, but didn’t know where to start, I would say, just buy a piece of furniture that you like, and then begin to go from there, a sort of free association if you asked me.

For instance, you could just get this beautiful but bizarre Soap Chair created by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. Eero always designs furniture that is inspired by things and stuff he finds in real life. This chair was inspired by a bar of soap. The Soap Chair comes with space to keep a remote or a cell phone in the arm rests.

The chair would be available only from their Finland store, and if you want it, you could contact them and work out how it could be shipped to your country. Design Story also has a certain promotional offer where in, customers would get signed chairs by Eero Aarnio. The chair costs $2,500, but you could get it for just $1,850 if you buy it from Design Story.
