Here is news to bring smiles to the faces of spa and wellness industry executives. The Global Spa Summit has announced that COMO Shambhala is offering Summit delegates the chance to either spend three days at the COMO Shambhala Estate or take a two-night yoga retreat at Uma Ubud prior to the Summit which is scheduled for 15-18 May.
The Global Spa Summit is an annual event meant for senior professionals from the spa and wellness industry. Professionals can start availing of the pre-Summit twin retreats from 13 January onwards. However, accommodation is on a first-come first-serve basis.
At the award-winning COMO Shambhala Estate delegates have much to choose from. On offer are yoga and Pilates, hydrotherapy, meditation, tai chi, shopping in Bali and COMO’s signature spa treatments. Yoga sessions and rice paddy walks await delegates who chose the two-night stay at COMO Shambhala’s sister property Uma Ubud. A traditional Shambhala moveable feast awaits delegates on 14 May. This will be held at the Estates’ themed residences.
As international leaders from the spa and wellness industry head to Bali, they will get first-hand experience of one of the world’s best spas at special rates. Also on offer are a complimentary message, use of a personal assistant and of fitness services among other things. This should be a great experience prior to the actual Summit where industry issues are due to come up for discussion. Meanwhile, non-industry people going green with envy can start planning their own spa retreat to exotic places, whether Bali, Istanbul or Barbados.
