The five-star Europa cruiseline recently added the Restaurant Dieter Mueller that is run by the one and only German chef Dieter Mueller. But this restaurant does not just hold the chef’s name but the man is actually on board for 70 days of the year! This is a very exclusive restaurant with just 26 seats. Guests will be able to enjoy delectable meals prepared by Mueller that are a fusion of French, Asian, and Mediterranean styles. This restaurant was originally the Oriental Restaurant, but was given an overhaul at a Hamburg shipyard to make way for the new the “Restaurant Dieter Mueller”.
Apart from this restaurant, there are other three restaurants being run by Stefan Wilke. Mueller has been voted “Chef of the Year”, by the French restaurant guide “Gault Millau” and the German magazine “Der Feinschmecker for more than four years. He was the head chef for 18-years at the luxury hotel and three Michelin stars restaurant Schlosshotel Lerbach. Some of the items on the sample menu include the young venison saddle with filled polenta roulade and cardamom sauce; Tandoori pumpkin soup; white tomato jelly, and many other very interesting and delicious gourmet dishes.
The Europa can accommodate 408 guests and boasts of some amazing facilities. Its itinerary for the coming year includes Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Central America, Caribbean, Atlantic Ocean, Western Europe, Baltic Sea, North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
