Dubai Metro Chooses the Luxe Path to Public Transport

The plans to extend green line of the luxurious Dubai Metro are in progress which will link a number of areas and Academic City. This project would benefit hundreds and thousands of residents of the region which has been announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) official. The announcement creates one more Guinness world record as a driverless longest Metro network of 74.695 kilometers in the world.   The stretch is the result of combined red and green lines of Metro. What is different about this metro is that it is giong to be really luxurious.

In September 2011 itself Dubai Metro’s Red Line had created a world record of Guinness as the driverless longest Metro line extending fifty two kilometers. The Metro’s totaling length of red and green lines together will amount to 74.694 km with a total forty seven stations. There are eighteen stations on the Green Line and twenty nine stations will be on the Red Line. Both green and red lines would intersect two times; the first one at the underground Union station which with its area of twenty five thousand square meters, and the second at Al Waleed Station; where user could easily move through these stations between two lines.


The achievement has been dedicated to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai as he is driving force of the project. HH envisioned the Metro as a backbone to link entire parts of the city with panoramic view of landmarks of the city. It has the cutting edge technology with air conditioning system in trains and stations and the trains are operated by electronic system with creative architectural designs as well as latest safety and security measures.
