The Christal watch collection by Dior has new additions. The new watches and their designs hearken back to the 1960s or the Kennedy era. Jackie O would have most likely swooned over this piece with its asymmetrical design that looks chic and is actually loosely based on a diver’s watch. They are nice watches and worthy additions to the Christal collection. Dior would be coming out with more details with the newly launched watches shortly.
What differentiates this watch from the rest of the Christal family is the patent leather or the patent calfskin leather. The straps are in patent calfskin leather. The softest leather for the softest vinyl-like finish. Apart from this it is very much a Dior watch. It has the usual decoration with plenty of diamonds done in a very aesthetic way. In fact further details are eagerly awaited by people who trust the Dior brand.
The patent calfskin strap gives the watches a very chic and sober look and feel. I t helps enhance the classy look of the watches. There has been no announcement, so far from the company regarding the pricing of the watches and the channel for distribution and sale to be adopted. Dior is obviously confident that the watches will be well received by the top end customers a large section of which are loyal to the Dior brand.
