Chopard comes out with a new and improved Happy Diamond watch for its 150th anniversary

A while back, Chopard had come out with an interesting concept called Chopard Happy Diamonds. It was supposed to have a section of movable diamonds set in steel or gold, placed between two sapphire crystals atop the watch dial. The Chopard Happy Diamonds turned into the Happy Sport watches, which weren’t all that we would expect from Chopard. Quite obviously then, came the knock offs. Though the original concept was quite interesting, but Chopard seems to have lost its sight midway and couldn’t really pull off the design properly.

Thankfully, however, Chopard, for its 150th anniversary has released a brand new Happy Sport watch that seems to do justice to the brand’s legacy of gorgeous designs. It not only carries forward the Happy Sport concept, but also adds freshness to it. In this new watch, there are five diamonds placed in a star shaped steel setting. The dial is a beautiful aventurine lacquered blue, and the movement is Swiss quartz.

The shape of the case has also been improved. It comes in two versions: the first one has just the loose star diamonds, while the second one has a diamond studded bezel. The strap also comes into two material, satin and alligator leather. Quite beautiful indeed!
