China gets its First Five-Star Airport Hotel

China has seen a rapid expansion of five-star hotels all over the country. But strangely, none of the country’s airports had five star hotels. But that wont be the case anymore as Hilton Hotels have opened the first five-star airport hotel in China at the Beijing airport.

Dave Horton, Global Head of the Hilton Hotels brand, said: “Opening China’s first luxury international airport hotel generations after our founder pioneered the airport hotel concept is more than a noteworthy milestone. Hilton Beijing Capital Airport reflects the innovation, refreshing hospitality and contemporary relevance that enable us to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests and set Hilton as a leader in the eyes of today’s savvy global travellers.” This place has 320 rooms, a spa, a fitness centre, seven restaurants, 32 private dining rooms, two ballrooms, 21 meeting rooms among other facilities.

“Hilton Beijing Capital Airport is a dynamic property that will become a top gateway to China, with international travellers staying overnight after long-haul flights before connecting to their final destinations. The hotel will host leisure guests and business travellers from top companies who want the convenience of Terminal 3 and Hilton standards for events, business, dining and guest services,” said Martin Rinck, Area President Asia Pacific of Hilton Worldwide.
