Chanel has launched an all new fragrance that is expected to be one of the most subtle perfumes to be released lately. The Chance Eau Tendre fragrance (€54 for 50ml) was announced on Friday and would be available at all Chanel stores.
There is also an event in selected Chanel stores where in a guest could have a complimentary appointment, and would receiving a fragrance layering consultation. Moreover, the guest would also get a make-over, a mini manicure and a Chanel goodie bag.
It would be interesting to see what kinda perfume Chanel would unveil next, for usually they do not offer on-counter treats like they are doing now. It is being rumoured that luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and others are diversifying their target audience, in order to attract more buyers considering how bad the market really was some time ago.
Unfortunately, this has led to some sort of dissent among the wealthy and thus luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and others stand to lose out on their core audience: the super rich. Now one would only have to wait and see if these sort of “goodie bag tricks” would drive away the super rich from Chanel stores.
