It does seem that things out there are a bit slow and dull on the real estate side of things since the downturn in the economic circuits across the planet. Hollywood celeb and pop singer Christina Aguilera is also feeling the effect with her Hollywood Hills home not having any takers after the first listing at a price of $7,995,000 in April 2008. Now the home is back on the sale market with a price tag of $6.25 million and it is being hoped that at least now someone will go for this tinsel town residence.
The renovated home has a 1,200-square-foot master bedroom suite, a screening room that seats 18, a gym, a pool and a 12-person spa; apparently a place designed purely for someone in showbiz and coming from Hollywood that should surprise absolutely no one. Bought by Aguilera from Steve Hermann in 2003 for $ 5 million, it seems Christina is hell bent on getting rid of it, even if it is for not a whole lot of profit.
Offering views encompassing downtown L.A. and the ocean, the four-bedroom, seven-bathroom house somehow seems to be a dull draw and surprisingly still has no takers. Hopefully for Aguilera that changes very soon…
