Celebrate ThanksGiving at Valentino’s on the Green

Now you can celebrate thanksgiving at Valentino’s on the Green, the Bayside, New York home of Rudolph Valentino, the legendary film star of the silent era. You will get to enjoy a special three-course prix fix menu this November 25 that will include a choice of appetizer like pumpkin and butternut squash soup, and a choice of entree that will include traditional turkey and sausage stuffing to stuffed loin of pork, sliced filet mignon and homemade ravioli, while the dessert choices include a pumpkin-ricotta cheesecake and New York state apple and cranberry crisp.

The cost per person will be $44.50. There will be a menu especially for children. This Italian restaurant has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. The place has a lovely view surrounded by an elegant patio, golf course in the vicinity, a garden, and a pond. The place has The Valentino Room that has a bar and a fireplace, the second floor has 230-seat banquet space, and a bridal suite that used to be Valentino himself.

The chef is Don Pintabona, who has been behind several other very successful restaurants in the past like Tribeca Grill with Robert De Niro. Reservations can be made online or by calling at (718) 352-2300. The restaurant is located at 201-10 Cross Island Parkway, Bayside, New York.
