The much hyped wedding of the country singer Carrie Underwood and her Ottawa Senators star player Mike Fisher took place with hundreds of guests joining the celebration of their matrimony. Now as sources tell us, this wedding is going to cost the newly weds more than half a million dollars. And it is just for the hotel! I think they will be able to manage the cost considering the amount of money they make.
They tied the knot at Ritz-Carlton Lodge, which is at the Reynolds Plantation in the state of Georgia. The couple who met at a concert of Underwood and got engaged this Christmas had kept their wedding plans all hush hush. Infact the guests were also told to come to an airport from where they would be told about their final destination. Hundreds of rooms were booked at the Ritz whose rooms range from $300 to $1,500 a night.
So the estimated cost to accommodate the guests itself must have run into hundreds of thousands. The couple themselves will be staying in the Presidential suite that costs $4000 per night. It has two king size and two double rooms, and a dining room that can seat 16 people. Nice!
