Kay Alden is the co-head of the writing team of the TV soap Bold And The Beautiful. She has won five daytime Emmys for the show, and won her latest one just last month. But we are not going to talk about the show here. The woman is actually selling her Chicago condo. Her 25th floor home will be auctioned off on July 27th. It is 4,700 square feet area with an assemblage of four smaller condos.
These four condos were brought together over a period of 20 years. The view from this place is absolutely breathtaking. It has been listed on the market for about a year for $1.95 million. The auction of this property will take place through Fine & Company. The opening bid is expected to be $600,000. So the average cost per square feet will be around $127, which is much cheaper than the going rate for the neighbourhood.
The finishing of this place is a little dated, so that might be a drawback for some. But overall the space is very tempting and so is the amazing view. And the renovation also shouldn’t add up enormously to the total cost, as parts such as the kitchen had been renovated recently.
