Baselworld 2010: Ulysse Nardin Unveils El Toro

Ulysse Nardin is a famous Swiss watchmaking house that resurrected in 1983. Many fascinating Horological innovations have put this company on the map of watches and jewellery.

So, it should not be a surprise to learn that the company has some cool surprises waiting for the visitors at the Baselworld 2010. If you remember well, the company’s family of a perpetual calendar watches with wheel-based mechanisms were really popular sometime back. The El Toro is a modern variation of their very popular GMT Perpetual Watch.

The Ulysse Nardin El Toro watch comes with 18-karat red gold or platinum and comes with the unique nearly scratchproof zirconium oxide material. There are blued screws and beautiful cuts and designs which make this watch really unique and luxurious.

Just like the other Ulysse Nardin GMT± Perpetual watches the El Toro comes with a distinct arrow-tipped central hand. It comes with a large sapphire crystal exhibition window and has an amazing central rotor fashioned from matte-finished 18K white gold. Only 500 of these would be unveiled.
