Jean-François Ruchonnet sure knows what he is doing when it comes to watches. the latest one is one of the best that I have come across and is called Nostromo and has been designed for Cabestan. The watch is user friendly, mechanically impeccable and looks pretty awesome. The time could be read remarkably easily and has the quality of being one of the best watches you could see at Baselworld 2010.
It has a power reserve of 50 hours and thanks to the side right sapphire crystal window the watch quaintly resembles the Horological magnificence that Cabestan is famous for. There are several drums which help you read the hours, seconds and minutes. There is no information about the price or availability but we could expect more information at the Baselworld 2010.
This watch could be a great one to wear to adventurous places, and thus looks rugged as well. What strikes you at the first glance is, how similar the Nostromo watch looks to the previous Cabestan watch. Good looks, great technology and a big name are enough to make this a sure winner.
