Eberhard & Co have announced the Tazio Nuvolari Grand Prix Limited Edition which is inspired by racing. It comes with a ceramic bezel and that is perhaps is what makes it quite cool.
If you know all the people who are listed in the Grand Prix Hall of Fame, you would know about Tazio Nuvolari. This watch is dedicated to Tazio Nuvolari who is one of the most respected of all Grand Prix champions. With a reliable ETA 7750 base it is not really that exciting.
Also, I do not like the red letters and the large case which do not suit each other. The legible subdials and the black alligator strap are quite tolerable. Thanks to the gold case and bold red markings, this is a decent watch but with so many cooler watches out there, we may not really want to buy it.
However, if you are a fan of Tazio Nuvolari you would certainly want to buy it. It has a case of 43mm, and an autograph of Tazio dahlin’ as well. Only 123 pieces would ever be manufactured, which means you really would have to try hard to find this if you don’t buy it on time.
Baselworld 2010 is scheduled from 18-25 March.
