Bali Resort Introduces $88,000 Buy-out Package For Large Groups

When friends and family get together, the good times are sure to start rolling. At the same time, getting large-scale bookings in luxury hotels may not always be viable. However, a resort in Bali is encouraging people to do just that. The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah, a high-end Bali resort has come up with a buy-out package deal targeted at people wanting to vacation in large groups.

The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah has introduced the Bali Confidential buy-out package. Under this deal, the resort will cater to a party of 50 people over three nights and four days. Given that the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah is a spread-out estate of 20 villas, this sounds like a great deal. The package is inclusive of all meals, spa treatments and yoga classes among other things.

Guests will have access to a butler as well. Tours and special events can be planned through him. Guests will also be treated to a performance of the Kecak dance of Bali at the amphitheatre located on the premises.

With the Bali Confidential package, the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah is in effect, returning to its roots. When the hotel was built in the 1980s, it was to be a private retreat. Tanah Gajah means “the realm of the elephant” and refers to a Hindu temple nearby.

The Bali Confidential package costs $88,000. On first impression, that seems like a huge figure. However, Stefan Noll, GM of the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah, says this breaks down to $587 per person, a relatively reasonable sum for a luxury hotel. The package targets wedding parties, reunions and corporates.
