There are some people in this world who are just obsessed with their cars. It is amazing to see the extent to which these people would go to flaunt their love for the automobile. We sure have heard of people who go around town in their fav car showing it off, people who buy all the imaginable accessories related to their car or construct a fancy garage to give their cars a beautiful home. But builder Markus Voglreiter has taken this obsession to a whole new level.
Check this out; the man actually has a house and also a restaurant that is made to look like his favourite car, the VW Beetle. He made this auto inspired house in 2003 and had to shell out £750,000 ($1,140,084) to construct the three storey structure. This one was based on the design of the original Beetle manufactured by Porsche in 1935. Then in 2007 he was successful in opening a Beetle inspired restaurant as well! Located in Salzburg, Austria, the Car Home is made from pine wood and the most interesting feature apart from the design ofcourse is that the bedroom lights actually look like headlights of the car at night.
The restaurant is called The Car, Das Auto, and cost a whopping 1.6 million Euros ($2 million) with help from Daniell Porsche. This restaurant is also located in Salzburg and can accommodate 300 people and 320 more on the outside terrace. This place is surely going to get very popular.
