Artya Tesla Tourbillon: Transparency that steals the spotlight!

Basel World 2010 is obviously the hot hub for those who love to sport only the very best when it comes to Wristgear and the Artya Tesla Tourbillon surely stood out from the crowd with its uniquely bold look and technical precision. A cool merger of the contemporary trend to go as minimalistic as possible, the transparent ‘skeleton’ look gives the watch the most obvious charm that comes from keeping things really, really simple. Crafted from an electric charge of 1.000.000 volts, the watch seems to have been inspired by the electric elements of the planet.

With superimposition of components, pierced main plate displays, sandblasted bridges, electrical green, red and blue elements, the watch has a very raw magnetic appeal to it. Fitted with American cane Toad Skin Strap (Yup, that a pretty strange thing), the watch has a strap that matches the unique flavor of the machinery inside. The reason for the strap is that supposedly the cane Toad is never harmed by lightning and inspired by the legend Artya have chosen to go in that exotic new direction!

While the watch does not look as sleek and futuristic as most others at Basel World, it surely has a very special look and should becoming a showstopper whenever it steps into a party… Simply audacious!

[Thanks: Artya]
