Andreas Schaaf Announces Luxury BMW Line-up for Indian Market

Andreas Schaaf the president of BMW of India, has made it clear to bring new products from their global line-up depend on the Indian market, local demand, and preferences. The luxury cars are developed by the parent company with new concepts and the best technology. It would do everything to keep the Indian customers extremely pleased with varied preferences. The Indian market which is emerging fast, being the leaders of luxury cars BMW would be concentrating on their compact cars,  as well as they have to stay ahead of the competition of Mercedes Benz.

BMW has launched very recently its Concept Car of Vision Efficient Dynamics. He also dropped a hint for Indian future scenery related to the “compact segment” which has made Mercedes Benz leave behind its Indian Luxury Car segment. BMW has already planned the global launch of 2012 BMW 1-Series. By the end of next year, its main effort would be to bring the new 1-Series on Indian shore. The Hatchback 1Series which would be unveiled, is built under the codename F20. It will feature a wider track and a little longer wheelbase than the present model.

As there is a lot of promise in the Indian auto market Mercedes Benz has announced that it would come bringing forward smaller A and B Class cars. So the tough competition keeps on going, BMW would introduce small cars like Mini Compact with price range of 22-27 lakhs, without raising the prices of CKD unit.  It is considered as locally produced as the company’s fifty percent assembly work of engines and transmission has been done in India, since the launch of some models.
